"1725rpm, 1/3hp, rated for continuous duty... and, preferably having a 3/8" shaft"
I'd still wonder whether you need its motor casing to be smaller than xx inch diameter.

Anyhow, regardless what motors I have laying around... you're in Ohio!
The shipping cost would be prohibitive. Besides, I hear they have LOTS of motors in Ohio.

Talk to the staff at your local Goodwill thrift store and or Salvation Army.
A lot of the donated motorized appliances wind up directly in the dumpster because they don't have people qualified to check/fix "stuff" and they worry about potential lawsuits from "faulty electromechanical stuff".

Rpm sounds about right, though the reason for tread specific is because of it's ability to hold and maintain speeds at fractions to it's max without using mechanical gearing. Having too large of a casing could be a problem, though usually not a concern with these guys. 3/8 or (preferably) larger. Stick your tongue to the wires, give it a spin, and then think wind! I'm working on the blades, but need to size them to the motor first.

Anyhow, regardless what motors I have laying around... you're in Ohio!
